My heart is overflowing with gratitude for all the love I experienced at my 50th birthday. The party was so much fun and so many people were so creative. The letters, the funny songs, the hilarious drama, and the incredible slideshow. I especially enjoyed the extended time of worship with the great songs that honored our Lord who has been so faithful to me!
On top of that was all the money that was raised for Shepherding The Nations. I asked that money be donated to our mission agency instead of gifts for me and nearly $10,000 was donated! What a blessing that will be to the precious pastors in India & Nepal!
Thank you to all of you who played a part in the actual program, to all who were in attendance, to all who sent me encouraging cards & gifts, and to all who donated to STN. My heart is overflowing with joy because of YOU! Turning 50 can be fun!!!

Thanks for letting us all share in your big celebration! It was a hoot to be a part of the program! I'm SO excited about the money raised for STN. To God be the glory!

Pastor Brown, your mission-mindedness (Shepherding the Nations) has caught my attention. Am a pastor myself for about 3-decades now but never have yet experienced the joy of birthday celebration like you did. Infact, with my last 56th birthday, I celebrated it without breakfast, lunch and dinner at the house of my son-in-law in California, USA. What a wonderful privilege for you to have the support of your family and the brethren in the Church. I hope and pray that you will have many more "blessed" birthdays to come and in your goal of "Shepherding the Nations" how I wish for you to also consider supporting an Overseas Mission (Pioneering Works) for the Filipino Tribes here in the Philippines.
