Camille was born and raised in the San Fernando Valley, where she attended the first Armenian day school in the United States. Sensing God's direction, she enrolled in an area Bible College, graduating in 1980 with a degree in
Religious Education. She met Bob Ivey at her local church and they married in 1977. In time, they were blessed with two daughters, Michelle and Regina. She was able to home school them for part of their education. In 2004, she joined the staff of Shepherd's Community Church, after working in several positions in the secular world. Currently, she serves the church working general office responsibilities and assisting the Worship department.
She and her sister, Christine, have traveled with their dad to Armenia on a number of occasions. Meeting people and seeing the need in foreign lands has given her an understanding of the world. She enjoys reading in her free time, especially biographies.
Her favorite scripture is Romans 8:35-39, "What shall separate us from the love of Christ?... For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers...nor any other created thing shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord."
